Background

Advanced forms arrive in Valuecase: conditional logic for intelligent branching, configurable table questions for repeating data, and smoother building & submission management. Plus improved accordion blocks, HubSpot custom objects & tickets, and persistent internal linking.

Valuecase introduces powerful new form capabilities including conditional logic for intelligent branching, configurable table questions for repeating data, and enhanced usability features. Plus accordion block improvements, expanded HubSpot integration, and persistent internal linking.

What’s New in This Release

This October 2025 update brings major form enhancements to Valuecase, making forms powerful enough to replace most external form tools. Teams can now build intelligent forms with conditional logic, collect repeating data with configurable tables, and manage submissions more efficiently. We’ve also improved accordion blocks, expanded HubSpot integration, and added persistent internal linking for action plans.

Build Smarter Forms Without External Tools

Forms in Valuecase are now sophisticated enough to handle complex data collection scenarios for customer onboarding, sales qualification, and collaborative processes. With conditional logic, table questions, and improved usability, teams can create professional forms that adapt to users and collect exactly the data they need.

Key Benefits:

  • Reduce friction by only showing relevant questions to each user
  • Collect complex, repeating data without redundant fields
  • Build and manage forms faster with improved interfaces
  • Eliminate dependencies on external form tools like Typeform or Google Forms

Conditional Logic: Intelligent Form Branching

Create forms that adapt based on previous answers, showing or hiding follow-up questions dynamically. This reduces form length, improves completion rates, and ensures you only ask relevant questions.

How Conditional Logic Works:

Set conditions via the three-dot menu on any question to show or hide it based on what someone selected earlier in the form. Build multi-path forms that guide different users through different experiences based on their needs – for example, showing enterprise-specific questions only to enterprise customers, or displaying technical setup questions only when users select advanced features.

Use Cases:

  • Sales qualification forms that branch based on company size or industry
  • Onboarding forms that show different questions for different user roles
  • Feedback forms that dive deeper based on satisfaction ratings
  • Security questionnaires that expand based on compliance requirements

Table Questions: Collect Repeating Data

The new Configurable List question type lets you collect variable lists of structured information without making users fill out the same fields over and over. This is perfect for scenarios where you need to gather multiple similar items.

How Table Questions Work:

Use the "Configurable List" question type to collect repeating sets of data like multiple contacts, team members, or assets. Users can add as many rows as they need in one clean table interface, and all data is captured in a structured format for easy processing.

Common Applications:

  • Collect multiple stakeholder contacts with name, email, and role
  • Gather lists of systems or tools that need integration
  • Capture multiple locations or departments for enterprise onboarding
  • Document multiple assets or resources being transferred

Better Usability & Management

We’ve streamlined the form building experience and made it easier to manage submissions at scale:

Sidepanel Question Creation:

Questions now open in a sidepanel instead of a popup, giving you more room to configure complex questions without losing context of your form structure. This makes it much easier to build sophisticated forms with many options and conditions.

Bulk Download Submissions:

Export all form submissions from a Space in one go – access this from the forms sidebar or Space overview. Perfect for analyzing responses, importing to other systems, or archiving customer data.

Multi-Submission Tracking:

See which forms have multiple responses at a glance with new sidebar indicators, and quickly access all submissions to compare changes or track progress over time.

More Flexible Accordion Blocks

Accordion blocks now give you better control over media positioning and layout, making it easier to create engaging visual experiences in your collaborative workspaces.

Key Improvements:

  • Drag and drop images or videos within an accordion block to reorder them exactly how you want
  • Create media-only sections by removing the placeholder text – viewers won’t see empty text fields, just a clean media gallery
  • Media positions persist when you copy blocks between Spaces or use them in templates

These improvements are particularly useful for creating product galleries, visual case studies, or step-by-step guides with screenshots and videos.

HubSpot Integration: Custom Objects & Tickets

If you’re using HubSpot’s more advanced features for customer onboarding or sales processes, you can now connect custom objects and tickets to Valuecase (similar to our existing Salesforce support).

What’s Included:

Go to Settings > Integrations > HubSpot and select the standard or custom objects you want to sync, including tickets. This gives you better alignment with complex HubSpot setups and more flexibility in how you map CRM data to collaborative workspaces.

Benefits:

  • Sync custom objects like training modules, onboarding milestones, or implementation tasks
  • Connect support tickets to relevant customer onboarding Spaces
  • Build automation rules based on custom object data
  • Maintain consistency between your CRM and stakeholder-facing content

Persistent Internal Linking

Action plans and content blocks can now include persistent internal links to other pages, blocks, or tasks using a simple picker interface – no more copying and pasting IDs.

How It Works:

Add internal links directly from the rich text editor, then choose your target using a visual picker. Links remain stable even when blocks move or templates are created. If a target is hidden or deleted, sellers get an alert and buyers see a clear message.

Use Cases:

  • Link from overview pages to detailed implementation guides
  • Reference specific tasks from instructional content
  • Create navigation between related onboarding modules
  • Build interconnected knowledge bases within Spaces

Frequently Asked Questions

What is conditional logic in forms?

Conditional logic allows forms to dynamically show or hide questions based on previous answers. This creates personalized form experiences where users only see questions relevant to their specific situation, improving completion rates and data quality.

What are common use cases for conditional logic forms?

Sales qualification forms that branch based on company size or industry, customer onboarding forms that show different questions for different user roles, security questionnaires that expand based on compliance requirements, and feedback forms that dive deeper based on satisfaction ratings.

How do table questions differ from regular form fields?

Table questions (Configurable Lists) let users add multiple rows of the same set of fields in one interface. Instead of asking "Contact 1 name, Contact 1 email, Contact 2 name, Contact 2 email", users add as many contact rows as they need in a clean table format.

When should I use forms in Valuecase vs external form tools?

Valuecase forms are ideal when you need data collection integrated directly into customer onboarding workspaces or digital sales rooms. With conditional logic and table questions, Valuecase can now replace tools like Typeform or Google Forms while keeping all stakeholder data and content in one place.

What types of data can I collect with table questions?

Common examples include multiple stakeholder contacts (name, email, role), lists of systems requiring integration, multiple locations or departments for enterprise onboarding, team member details, asset inventories, or any scenario where you need repeating structured data.

Can I use Valuecase forms for customer onboarding?

Yes, Valuecase forms are specifically designed for customer onboarding and sales processes. They integrate seamlessly with your collaborative workspaces, CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce), and can trigger automation based on form responses.

Does Valuecase integrate with HubSpot custom objects?

Yes, Valuecase supports HubSpot custom objects and tickets, similar to our Salesforce integration. This allows you to sync custom data like training modules, onboarding milestones, or implementation tasks between your CRM and collaborative workspaces.
